For decades, the residential real estate industry has espoused the benefits of the provision of client level/fiduciary duties for those in the process of buying and/or selling a home. However, as explained in a 2019 publication entitled “The Agency Mess”, for those same many decades, there has been a great deal of consumer confusion relative to how all of that is supposed to work.

Having seen that confusion, firsthand, as a lawyer, I figured that there had to be a way to cure that problem. That is why my wife, Diane and I founded PRAEDIUM Real estate Services in 1995.

At PRAEDIUM, we believe in clarity of roles and transparency of process for each one of our clients. We NEVER engage in Dual Agency! Much like a law firm operates, PRAEDIUM will NEVER represent opposite sides (e.g. seller-buyer) in the same transaction. READ MORE
